Hemp Construction is a division of Wandarra and the consumer face of HulkBuild, a Townsville (North Queensland) manufacturer of sustainable, low-carbon construction materials backed by a scalable, regional supply chain.
Our story
Something better than business as usual.
We set out to answer Australia's housing shortage with something better than business as usual: homes and materials grown from industrial hemp, manufactured in North Queensland, and delivered in weeks. Where hempcrete has stayed a cottage craft, we've built a mainstream, rapid-build system — among the first in the world to manufacture an entire modular home from hemp.
